Welcome to my site. I am a qualified clinical hypnotherapist and psycho-analyst, and Thought Field Therapy Specialist (Callaghan techniques) and a member of the NCH and the APHP UK and the BTFTA. (Croft Academy).
I am very interested in developing my skills professionally and love to be creative. I am interested in using combinations of TFT, conscious analysis and Hypnotherapy. I look forward to discussions about when and how we use TFT initially, or conscious analysis, or regression in the early stage following up with TFT for specific issues where a pattern break is needed. 'Juggling' our tools to suit different personality types can be fun, but needs to be constructive and always with the clients best interest at heart. I find myself getting a lot of word of mouth clients who happen to be young women with panic attacks, usually with some repressed traumatic memories. Work related stress, lack of confidence and a few phobias I've treated in my first year in business. Also I have worked with quite a lot of smokers and found great success to date, but not attracting much from advertising. My background is:- 12 years senior level nursing (SRN/RGN) followed by Business & Finance course, and then 19 years in the Pharmaceutical Industry selling drugs at all levels including to senior hospital specialists, formulary committees and at PCT level. I also help my husband run an introduction agency and over the last 12 years or so found myself 'counselling' people on how to move their lives forward following the trauma of divorce, separation or loss.
I am also interested in looking more at the cost benefits of using hypnotherapy etc in industry compared to existing mechanisms. I understand that there are high levels of sickness due to work related stress, and anxiety generally in the North East of England.
In the future I want to be able to concentrate on my new trade full time and write scripts, and produce books. Perhaps work in partnership with other professional hypnotherapists. I am open minded generally and love chatting on the net. (when I can find time!) I love Cal Banyon's Blog Site and have learned so much since qualifying by listening to the 'Live' Podcasts.
